If you missed the comedy festival when it was last in your neck of the woods, you can now indulge your taste for stand-up comedy while relaxing at sea on a magnificent cruise.

P&O Cruises Australia has announced a star-studded line-up for its second annual biggest comedy festival at sea onboard Pacific Explorer.

The Big Laugh comedy festival, launching in June 2019, will headline some of Australia’s top 13 comedians, including Tom Gleeson, Dave Hughes and Mel Buttle, who will perform 32 shows during the jam-packed three-night cruise.

The line-up also includes Luke McGregor, Heath Franklin’s Chopper, Randy, Danielle Walker, Ivan Aristeguieta, Georgie Carroll, Mick Meredith, Dean Atkinson and Ellen Briggs.

From spectacular marquee performances to intimate comedy gigs, the cruise will offer a variety of different comedy genres every day and night.

“Following the success of our inaugural The Big Laugh cruise in 2018, we are thrilled to deliver another stellar line-up of comedians and shows for our guests,” P&O Cruise President Sture Myrmell said.

“Aussies have an undeniable appetite for comedy and it continues to be a hugely successful part of our itineraries with 780 shows now performed across our fleet each year. That’s more than two comedy shows a day — a figure to rival comedy stores around the country.”
