If fine food – both cooking and eating it – is your cup of tea, then this brand new cruise ship being built in Italy is made for you.
Regent’s new Seven Seas Splendor released delectable pictures of the food that will be available onboard, while announcing that they will also host cooking classes and gourmet tours.
The 750-passenger vessel will boast seven different dining venues, including Compass Rose, the largest restaurant onboard, and La Veranda, which will offer diners a delicious dinner menu of authentic Italian specialties.
Other dining options, carried over from sister ship Seven Seas Explorer, will include the Asian-inspired Pacific Rim, modern French eatery Chartreuse and if you love steakhouse-style dining, you can head to Prime 7.
Meanwhile, the ship’s Culinary Arts Kitchen will include 18 cook stations and offer a range of culinary classes teaching professional techniques and recipes by master chef instructors.
“All of the luxuries aboard Seven Seas Splendor build on the incredible success and guest favourites of her sister ship, Seven Seas Explorer,” Jason Montague, president and chief executive officer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, said in a statement.
“This approach includes her restaurants and culinary experiences, where Seven Seas Splendor will enhance and perfect new dishes, restaurant designs, culinary arts classes and Gourmet Explorer Tours that excite all the senses to provide luxury travellers with world class meals and an unrivalled experience.”
And for those who prefer the simpler things, another cruise line has added a pizza delivery service where you can get a fresh, hand-tossed pizza delivered to just about anywhere on the ship. Carnival Cruise Line launched its ‘Pizza Anywhere’ feature on the Carnival Cruise Line Hub app in Australia, earlier this week.
