Itinerary: Adelaide - Marla - Alice Springs - Ayers Rock - Kings Canyon - Alice Springs - Katherine - Darwin.

Day 1-2: Adelaide-Alice Springs.
Overnight: The Ghan Gold Service.
Step onboard The Ghan in Adelaide and enjoy wonderful views of the Central Australian desert as you journey to Alice Springs. Pass through the West MacDonnell Ranges on your coach tour to Uluru. See the mystical domes of Kata Tjuta and explore majestic Walpa Gorge. Watch the sunset and sunrise over Uluru. Join a guided walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole. View cave paintings and learn about the area and its native flora. See the mystical domes of Kata Tjuta and explore majestic Walpa Gorge.

Day 2: Alice Springs.
Overnight: Double Tree By Hilton Alice Springs.
Experience eco-friendly luxury and enjoy stunning views of the majestic MacDonnell Mountain
Ranges when you stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Alice Springs. Conveniently located just off of Stuart Highway, the hotel is only 15 minutes' drive from Alice Springs Airport and within walking distance of downtown. Enjoy
easy access to many businesses, government offices and attractions such as Simpsons Gap, Desert Park and Anzac Hill.

Day 3: Alice Springs - Desert Park Tour
Aboriginal Cultural / Bush Tucker presentation at 9:30am and 2:30pm; Birds of Prey show at 10:00am and 3:30pm; Nocturnal House; Walk through avaries; Park Audio Guides; Changing Heart-Big Screen Cinema. All prices include Return Transfer and Park Entry.

Day 4: Alice Springs to Ayers Rock.
Alice Springs to Ayers Rock Resort Transfer
Travel south through the MacDonnell and James Ranges. Your friendly Driver Guide will provide comprehensive commentary of your surrounds. Visit a camel farm where there is time to take a short camel ride (own expense). Later you will have the opportunity to purchase morning tea at Mount Ebenezer. Marvel at majestic Atila (Mt. Conner) before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort.

Overnight: Voyages Desert Gardens Hotel.
A comfortable 4.5 star hotel at Ayers Rock Resort, Desert Garden Hotel is set amongst magnificent
ghost gums and flowering native shrubs. Centrally located to all resort and touring facilities, the hotel offers a range of appealing accommodation, from shaded poolside rooms to Deluxe rooms with Rock views.

With over 65 tours, local activities and attractions within the Resort and the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, your days will be more action-packed. Ride a camel across the desert dunes, hop on a harley, or embark on a base walk of Uluru. For a more relaxing experience, a visit to the new Red Ochre Spa is highly recommended.

You can also relax in the comfort of your private balcony or courtyard, or unwind near the pool over cocktails. It's only a short stroll to the numerous lookouts, where you can view one of the best sunsets in Australia, with the spectacular play of colours across the face of Uluru. Once the sun sets, you can try some Australian native delicacies at White Gums Restaurant, or try one of the other 13 dining experiences available throughout the resort.

Day 5: Ayers Rock.
Sunrise Field of Light: This morning you will be picked up at your accommodation in a luxury coach to be taken the very short distance to the exclusive Field of Light location. With just enough time for some background commentary on the internationally renowned artist Bruce Monroe, you will arrive very excited to see his latest artistic endeavour. Arriving in complete darkness, you will be able to enjoy the 50,000 globes of light in the desert, before making your way up the hill to the Field of Light sunrise viewing platform. Once at the platform, the AAT Kings team will be serving you tea, coffee or hot chocolate. You can enjoy your beverage as the sun starts to creep light throughout the sky and then watch in awe as it pops up in the distance behind Uluru, flooding the landscape, including Kata Tjuta behind you, with light. 

As the natural light brightens the landscape, the Field of Light will dim for the day. Enjoy some amazing photos from this unique raised location that allows you to view both Kata Tjuta and Uluru in all their natural glory.

Day 6: Ayers Rock
At the Sounds of Silence Dinner you can dine under the canopy of the desert night, while your very own storyteller shares tales as told in the star. Entered into the Australian Tourism Hall of Fame, Sounds of Silence offers the best of the Red Centre distilled into four magical hours. An evening of dining under the sparkling outback sky.

Day 7: Ayers Rock to Kings Canyon.
Ayers Rock (Uluru) to Kings Canyon Transfer including commentary.
Travel through spectacular desert scenery from Ayers Rock Resort, stopping at Angus Downs by luxury coach. Pass through Curtin Springs and view Atila (Mt. Conner). If you are continuing on to Alice Springs this day, you will be dropped at Angus Downs for your transfer by luxury coach to your hotel in Alice Springs.After turning off the Lasseter Highway and onto Luritja Road your Driver  Guide will provide informative commentary about the history of the surrounding cattle stations on the way to your accommodation at Kings Canyon. Arrive at Kings Canyon Resort before dusk. You may
have time to view the stunning sunset behind Carmichaels Crag to finish off the day.

Overnight: Kings Canyon Resort.
Kings Canyon is a natural wonder located approximately half way between Alice Springs and Uluru - at the heart of Australia's Red Centre. The resort is just 7 kilometres from Watarrka National Park, the home of the magical sandstone
formation of Kings Canyon. Soaring 270 metres above sea level, areas of the canyon plummet to the Garden of Eden where lush, plants thrive along the line of the permanent rock pools.       

Day 8: Kings Canyon to Alice Springs
Kings Canyon to Alice Springs Transfer including commentary.
Travel by luxury coach through beautiful desert landscapes. Stop at Kings Creek Station, a working cattle/camel station for lunch (own expense), why not try their famous camel burger! Followed by a brief stop at Angus Downs. From Angus Downs the coach stops at Erldunda, where you may purchase afternoon tea. Travel along the Stuart Highway
before arriving at your hotel in Alice Springs. 

Overnight: Double Tree By Hilton Alice Springs.
