DAY 1, Tuesday - Arrive in Seattle
Welcome to Seattle on Puget Sound in the Pacific Northwest, magnificently surrounded by water, mountains and lush evergreen forests. Transfer independently to the hotel. Time to settle in before tonight’s orientation meeting with your Tour Manager on the adventure that lies ahead, followed by a Welcome Drink together. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 7 pm on the day of arrival. We recommend that you select flights which arrive in your destination no later than 5 pm on Day 1 of the itinerary or earlier, if possible

DAY 2, Wednesday – Space Needle & Chihuly Gardens
The day begins with an ascent to Seattle's iconic Space Needle, a legacy of the 1962 World’s Fair, with its astonishing 360-degree vistas of the city, the nearby mountain ranges, bustling waterfront and looming Mt. Rainier. Continue to the nearby Chihuly Garden & Glasshouse to view the comprehensive collection of mastered glass sculptures of artist Dale Chihuly including an expansive 100-foot long sculpture in a colour palette of red, orange, yellow and amber. Return to your hotel and spend the afternoon at leisure. Tonight, a Welcome Dinner with your fellow travellers at a local restaurant, celebrates your arrival in the Pacific Northwest.

DAY 3, Thursday - Ferry to Victoria
This morning, depart Seattle and travel by ferry, crossing the border into Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia, Canada. Enjoy breakfast on board, while cruising through the Puget Sound and into the Strait of Juan de Fuca on your way to Victoria’s Inner Harbour. Upon arrival, visit the world-famous Butchart Gardens. Here, you'll see one of the world's greatest floral displays in the amazing 55 magnificent acres of flowers and show gardens, including the Japanese, Italian, and Rose gardens. Afterwards, embark on a panoramic city tour of Victoria, starting at Beacon Hill Park. View the Royal BC Museum, adjacent to Thunderbird Park with its carved totem poles, and Canada's oldest Chinatown

DAY 4, Friday - Full Day in Victoria 
Today is at leisure to enjoy the Victorian charm of this city, apparent in the horse-drawn carriages, formal gardens and tearooms. Perhaps, join the optional Victoria Seaplane Sightseeing. Soar above scenic downtown Victoria on a seaplane and marvel at the unforgettable views. In the afternoon participate in the optional Cowichan Valley Wine & Cider Tour with lunch. Head out of the city on a scenic drive to Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island’s thriving wine & cider region. Begin with a visit to a local cidery and distillery. Tour the orchard and continue to the cellar where you sample different types of cider. Proceed to a winery and lavender farm. Stroll through the lavender fields and tour the winery. Conclude the visit with tastings of the delightful wines featuring unique blends of fruits and lavender

DAY 5, Saturday - Ferry to Vancouver
Morning is at leisure. Later, travel by ferry to Vancouver, known for its temperate climate, it is one of the few places in the world where you can ski in the morning and sail in the afternoon. The city tour is highlighted by English Bay, a favourite recreational area, and Canada Place with its five white sails, an iconic landmark in the heart of Vancouver’s waterfront. Later, on to Stanley Park, to view the Totem Poles and Prospect Point, offering stunning views of the mountains, Lion Gate Bridge and the city's inner harbour.

DAY 6, Sunday – Full Day in Vancouver
Spend the day at leisure in this cosmopolitan city. Perhaps head to Gastown, the city's oldest neighborhood, or Granville Island, with its buzzing artists' quarter, waterside restaurants, top galleries, and a huge fresh food market. Or, join the optional Capilano Bridge & Mt Grouse. Head to Vancouver's North Shore for a day of adventure! Gather together for tonight's festive Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 7, Monday - Embark Cruise
Transfer to the cruise port for embarkation. Set sail at 4:00pm

DAY 8, Tuesday - Sailing the Inside Passage
Enjoy a day at sea aboard the ship as you cruise Alaska's Inside Passage. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as Orca whales and bald eagles. Humpback whales are often seen breaching by the ship, sometimes even lifting their whole bodies out of the water in a spectacular acrobatic display

DAY 9, Wednesday - Full Day in Ketchikan
This morning arrive in Ketchikan, Alaska at 7:00 am. Built out over the water and climbing weathered stairways, Ketchikan clings to the shores of Tongass. Besides the main attractions which include Creek Street, the Tongass Historical Museum, Totem Bight State Park and Saxman Village, try a flight-seeing trip to breathtaking Misty Fjords National Monument, an adventure not to be missed. These deep water fjords left by retreating glaciers left granite cliffs towering thousands of feet above the sea and countless waterfalls cascading into placid waters. Set sail this 4:00 pm

DAY 10, Thursday - Full Day in Juneau
This morning, at 11:00 am, dock at Juneau, Alaska. Located at the foot of grand mountain peaks on the Gastineau Channel, the town of Juneau has the massive Mendenhall Glacier and the immense Juneau Icefields at its back door. Juneau is the place to let your imagination run wild. Explore the lush Tongass National Forest, visit the rustic shops in town, or get out and kayak, dogsled, raft, hike, or whale watch. Set sail for Skagway tonight at 9:00 pm

DAY 11, Friday - Full Day in Skagway
Arrive in Skagway at 8:00 am. This city was originally founded by hopeful adventurers looking for gold, but today the city is the perfect jumping off point for a hike or horseback ride. The Yukon Railroad offers scenic rides through the countryside, and the Chilkat Glacier system offers the opportunity for an up-close and personal view of icebergs. Set sail at 8:00 pm

DAY 12, Saturday - Cruise Glacier Bay
Sail to Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, a United Nations World Heritage Site. Comprised of 3.3 million acres of natural wonders, it is home to magnificent glaciers, snow-capped mountains and abundant birds and wildlife

DAY 13, Tuesday - Cruising Hubbard Glacier
Enjoy a day at sea while you cruise to the Hubbard Glacier, the longest river of ice in North America and one of the most active glaciers of its kind in Alaska. With 1,350 square miles of translucent blue ice, the Hubbard Glacier offers breathtaking views from the comfort of the ship

Is This Trip Right for You?

This moderately active trip covers a fair amount of ground each day. Expect from three to four hours walking every touring day. The pace is moderate, however you will encounter some uneven surfaces, stairs, steps and significant slopes. Shore excursions are available to purchase locally on board the cruise.
