Day 1: After landing in Nadi International Airport, you’ll be met by a friendly representative. He’ll welcome you with a shell lei and help you aboard the air-conditioned transfer from the airport to the Vuda marina. It takes but 15 minutes and you’ll soon be on the speedboat to the resort island.
Once you’ve reached the resort’s white sand beach, there will be hotel representative to greet you and speed you through the check-in process. One of the resort’s porters will guide you to your Ocean-View Bure where you can relax with a shower. Take a stroll around the resort’s gardens or the white sand beach, tuck into an early dinner and turn it.
The next few days are up to you! Choose to make it as active and exciting as you want to – or tune into the ‘relaxed island’ mode, read a book while sipping on a tropical cocktail, get lulled to sleep swinging on a hammock, it’s all there for you. The resort has a plethora of activities on land and water for its guests. The island has its own tennis courts, volleyball courts and 11-hole specialty golf course, besides a slew of traditional events and experiences. The resort organises regular ‘Fijian Nights’ where travellers are treated to cultural performances, songs, dances and a traditional earthen oven ‘lovo’ feast. Then, there are Meke and Seagull dances, fire-shows and activities like handicraft making, cooking classes, language sessions and more!
The island is surrounded by crystal-clear waters and is a superb destination for all water-sports enthusiasts. From swimming and snorkelling off its beaches to scuba-diving charters, the coral reefs are a vision in themselves. Filled with tropical fish and riotous colours of corals, travellers can spend days exploring the underwater paradise. You can also kayak around the island – just ask the tour desk for complimentary snorkels, fins and kayaks!
When the fun gets too hectic, feel free to unwind at the resort’s in-house day-spa. We’ve even included a free traditional foot ritual to get started! Learn about the resort’s environment conservation activities and feed the endangered Hawksbill turtles – or just relax by the resort’s impressive three-tiered swimming pool.
When it comes to dining, the resort leaves no stone unturned. It offers several restaurants, bars and venues to sample international cuisines, cocktails and wines. From its teppanyaki bar, casual dining outhouse, seaside BBQ, sushi bar and private dining bures by the sea, you’ll be spoiled for choice.
Day 6: Check out of the resort. The speedboat will be waiting to take you back to mainland, from where you’ll be taken to the airport via air-conditioned transfers. Have a safe flight and hurry back soon!
