A week of diving nirvana in Solomons

Day 1: Fly from Brisbane to Solomon Islands (ask us for connecting flights!). On landing at Honiara airport, you’ll be greeted by our local island representative who will guide you to the coach transfer to the domestic airport. Fly to Seghe, which is about an hour’s journey. Once you’ve landed on the crushed coral landing strip of Seghe, the resort’s boat will take you on the 18-kilometre trip to the island. It’s a picturesque ride through and through, and just a trailer of Marovo Lagoon’s pristine beauty. Reach the resort island, check into your guest room and voila! Your holiday has started.

Being the only resort on the island, travellers are guaranteed privacy, peace and seclusion. Swim, snorkel and dive the days away and listen to island lore and sea stories at the bar during evenings. The resort grows its own produce and the seafood is always fresh, courtesy of the local fishermen. Your meals are included in the package, so enjoy sumptuous island fare as well as international cuisines every day. Our recommendation: sign up for diving tours. Day 8: Check out of the resort. The launch will drop you to Seghe, from where a domestic flight will take you to Honiara. At the domestic airport, our local representative will drive you to the international airport for the flight back home to Brisbane. Fly safe and do return back soon!

Your guestroom at the Uepi Island Resort is a large, spacious bungalow on stilts, and it comes with a king-size bed. Since the resort is eco-friendly and remote, power is generated on the island itself and there is no air-conditioning. But the island, and your room, is fanned by perpetually cool breezes.
