The Britrail Consecutive Pass is valid for any 3, 4, 8, 15, 22 days or 1 month consecutive travel.
The Britrail Flexi Pass is a Flexi Pass valid for any 3, 4 or 8 days within a 1 month period or any 15 days within a 2 month period. Travel days may be used consecutively or non-consecutively.
A day of rail travel is a 24 hour period from midnight to midnight - allows for unlimited travel on any number of trains for each day of use.
General
- To start using the pass it must be validated at a British train station before your first journey
- This pass does not cover the London Underground
Are seat reservations compulsory? Seat reservations on trains within Britain are not compulsory, they are optional. You can purchase your rail pass & simply hop on the train you wish to travel on - it does depends on which class you purchase. If you purchase First class then you can sit anywhere in First class and the same rule applies for a Second class pass. Seat reservations can be made locally if you have a service you must catch.
Inclusions
- The Britrail Consecutive Pass and Flexi Pass are valid for travel on the railway network of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales).
- It is also valid for travel on the following London Airport Link services: Heathrow Express, Gatwick Express and Stansted Express (Stansted Sky Train). Note: This will constitute a travel day off the pass
- Passes can be validated at the train ticket office in London Heathrow Airport.
A BritRail pass allows for unlimited travel on the network for the number of days selected on the pass.
