Cook Islands’ Flower Festival is a riot of colour, decorated floats, singing, dancing and of course, dazzling flower arrangements all over the island! As November draws to a close, the island nation goes into overdrive – decorating offices, buildings and homes with streamers of sweet-smelling flowers.

The hotel is set on the Titikaveka Beach, with over 10 kilometres of white sand beach in all its pristine glory. The vast Muri Lagoon stretches beyond, guaranteeing crystal-clear waters for swimming, snorkelling and endless choice of watersports. The boutique offering provides travellers with peace and privacy of a small resort, along with a plethora of activities and experiences typical of a Cook Islands holiday.

Day 1: Arrive in Rarotonga! - once you step out of the customs, meet your friendly resort representative who will be waiting for you. They will guide you to the coach transfer which will take you to the resort. Check in, unwind with a nice shower and relax – your holiday has officially begun!

Days 2 - 5: Over the next few days, enjoy the wonder that is the Flower Festival. Rarotonga will be decked up in flowers and brimming with events throughout the week. Each day will have its own set of flower-themed extravaganzas, float parades, food marts and throngs of people decked out in their own homage to Roy G. Biv! Basically, have a flower-powered blast of a time.

Then, you can choose to spend your holiday in as laidback or as adventurously as you want. There is just so much to do! Right from swimming and snorkelling in the Muri Lagoon’s crystal-clear waters to diving and fishing charters, just choose and indulge. For adventure-seekers, Rarotonga has great operators for parasailing, 4×4 off-road safaris, jungle hikes, white tip shark dives and so on; while quieter activities include a sunset cruise or a couples’ snorkelling expedition.

We’ve also packed in a fantastic afternoon and evening for you. From visiting a local village as honoured guests in the afternoon to settling down for a thumping good song-and-dance show in the evening, it’s all there. Plus, we’ve also included an island-themed buffet dinner afterwards.

The on-site Moana Restaurant and Bar serves up delicious international fare with a Polynesian twist from 8am to 9pm. There is also a guest laundry facility and a common BBQ area.

Day 6: Check out of the resort, the resort representative will help you aboard the coach transfer to the international airport.

The main island (and capital) is Rarotonga – with Aitutaki, Mangaia, Atiu, Mauke, Takutea, Manuae, Palmerston and Mitiaro – each with its own unique beauty and identity.

For couples, families, solo travellers and friends, there is an abundance of activities to be experienced. Explore Rarotonga’s beaches and villages, Atiu’s mountainous ranges and forests, Manuae’s thriving marine life or just laze by the clean white sand beaches of Aitutaki.

The Cook Islands have some of the clearest waters in the world. On an average day, visibility is around 50 feet to over 200 feet of shimmering seas, making it a mecca for diving, snorkelling, windsurfing and water sports. Secondly, along with a celebrated whale conservation centre, travellers can charter trips to see humpback whales on their seasonal visit (July-October) to this island destination. Aitutaki, Tongareva and Rarotonga are surrounded by some of the largest lagoons in the world.

A cruise is the perfect way to spend a relaxing day amidst natural beauty of the South Pacific Ocean. A visit to a village is also a must - the perfect way to experience true Cook Island hospitality. Guests will learn about arts, crafts and pearl farming - then enjoy a enjoy a traditional feast.
