This morning we travel out to Strathmore Station for a Smoko Tour – giving you an insider’s view into life on the land and to sample some delicious home cooking!

You'll also visit The Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame and discover the inspiring stories of the men, women and children living in and pioneering Outback Queensland, finishing with a delicious lunch.

Tonight, you'll join in the Camden Park Sunset Tour. Visit the Walker Family and gain an insight into the history of grazing in the Outback as you enjoy an extensive station tour and beautiful sunset, followed by an exclusive dinner.

31 Aug 2019 - Winton (B,L,D)

Today, you'll head to Winton, where you'll be given an town tour on arrival before heading to the Waltzing Matilda Centre, the only museum dedicated to a song. Hear wonderful stories surrounding Winton’s links to Australia’s unofficial national anthem and explore the interactive and fascinating displays.

This afternoon, you'll explore the Australian Age of Dinosaurs – perched on a magnificent mesa overlooking the plains where dinosaurs once roamed! Onsite, we’re treated to a top-class interpretive tour of the laboratory, the new Dinosaur Canyon and collection room by dinosaur enthusiasts – a truly enlightening experience! Finish your day with a BBQ dinner and drinks at a special sunset location.

Travel into the heart of Waltzing Matilda country and drive along private tracks to the beautiful Carisbrooke Station. Here we’ll follow the scenic Cory’s Range to see the Three Sisters rock formation, fossick for opals and enjoy a relaxed billy tea.

We then venture to the Dinosaur Stampede at Lark Quarry Conservation Park, where we will witness a prehistoric event from some 95 million years ago – the world’s only recorded dinosaur stampede! Enjoy a picnic lunch and the option to complete the Spinifex Walk, before joining a guided tour of over 3,300 footprints frozen in time in ancient mudflats.

Tonight, you'll meet your guides for pre-dinner drinks in the restaurant before your farewell dinner.

Your Outback Queensland adventure comes to an end with a complimentary transfer to your Brisbane bound flight.
